Le transfert et la restauration de l’orgue Rochesson (1940) de l’église Saint-Nicaise de Rouen vers l’église du Saint-Esprit à Paris sont confiés au facteur d’orgues Gerhard Grenzing, en partenariat avec Denis Lacorre.
Ce projet s’inscrit dans une démarche visant à préserver et réactiver un instrument majeur de la facture néo-classique française, en lui offrant un nouveau contexte d’usage et de diffusion.
Les travaux feront l’objet d’un suivi progressif, documenté au fil des différentes étapes du démontage, du transport et du remontage de l’instrument
The transfer and restoration of the Rochesson organ (1940) from the church of Saint-Nicaise in Rouen to the church of Saint-Esprit in Paris have been entrusted to organ builder Gerhard Grenzing, in partnership with Denis Lacorre.
The project aims to preserve and reactivate a major instrument of French neo-classical organ building by providing it with a new context for use and performance.
The process will be documented progressively, following the different stages of dismantling, transport, and reinstallation.
